One Letter Of the Alphabet

UTHE U IN JESUS
I received this from a friend last week. I never knew so  much could be said about just one letter. U is an important letter. You are an important person. Read the poem below:

Before  U were thought of or time had begun,
God  stuck U in the name of His Son.

And  each time U pray, you'll see it's true,
You  can't spell out JesUs and not include U.

You're  a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For  U, He was born; that's why He came.

And  His great love for U is the reason He died.
It  even takes U to spell crUcified.

Isn't  it thrilling and splendidly grand
He  rose from the dead, with U in His plan?

The  stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
and  this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When  JesUs left earth at His Upward ascension,
He  felt there was one thing He just had to  mention.

"Go  into the world and tell them it's true
That  I love them all - Just like I love U."

So  many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't  they have a right to know JesUs too?

It  all depends now on what U will do,
He'd  like them to know,
But  it all starts with U.

Other Stuff
I want to warn you that Friday the 13th came on Tuesday this month! So YOU be careful today.

Also, I’m going to try fishing again today. So far this year we haven’t had much good luck, only bad luck. So we’re going after the crappie to see if we can catch a few.

Stuff is an interesting word. One of my Mexican friends was learning English, and he thought the word “stuff” was a wonderful word. He said, “Stuff, I like that word. It can be anything you want it to be.” He was right! Now you watch your stuff today, okay?

Don’t forget your family and friends today where ever they are. Let them know you love them.

Quote of the Day
Why do we love the sea?  It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think.

Joke of the Day

I’m sure you’ve heard this before… about Heaven and Hell. It’s still funny even though it is so old.

In Heaven the economy is run by the Germans, the French do the cooking, and the police are English.

In Hell the economy is run by the French, the English do the cooking, and the police are German.

And Tennessee Granddaddy thinks that…

If there were musical instruments playing background music in hell, I think it would be bagpipes and accordions.
