The Emerald Isle

Discover Ireland
Ireland is a most beautiful land. Some refer to it as the Emerald Isle due to its green landscape. A few years ago, Beverly and I had the privilege of a 2 week trip to Ireland along with a couple of our friends.

A few things I remember today are the natural beauty, the flocks of sheep, dinner in a castle, the friendly people, and driving on the opposite side of the road. Really I remember more than that, but I have to stop somewhere.

Here a short tourist prepared video on Ireland, and if you ever get the opportunity you should visit.

Here’s a couple of pictures we took on our trip

Tennessee Granddaddy Says:
You may be only one person in the world,
But you may also be the world to one person.

There some people we can’t stand the thought of losing. We love them so much, we may even hope we die before they do. I guess that would be selfish.

Joke of the Day

Martha speaking with Sue advised that she was told Martha was getting married

Sue asked "Didn't she think she was a bit old to get married?" Martha said no.

Sue asked but why? Did her new husband have great looks, Martha said no.

Sue asked if he was well off financially? Martha said no.

Sue asked if he had a great personality? Martha said no.

Sue then asked why in the world would Martha marry the guy?

Martha said "he can drive at night."

(Our priorities change as we age.)
