Good Day

Best Day This Year
While the fishing was super great, at least wee caught some good fish yesterday. We only brought home 11 crappie, but they were really nice fish. Two of them were over 14 inches and the smallest was between 12 and 13 inches. That me holding the stringer. When we catch the fish we put them in the live well, but when the day is done we string them up to get a nice memory picture.

The picture above shows up measuring one of the larger fish. You probably can’t tell by the picture but the tail is beyond the 14 inch mark. That’s a nice crappie.

I enjoyed fishing yesterday, not just because we caught some fish but because I enjoyed seeing the beautiful trees, the blooming redbud trees in the wild, feeling the sunshine and the gentle rocking of the boat, hearing the waves lap against the boat and hearing the birds,… It is so wonderful to get outdoors and enjoy nature.
