Our Patio Flowers

More Blooms, Etc.
The other day I took a few more picture from the patio.

IMG_3295 Those Petunia blooms are just beautiful! IMG_3301 Here’s a bloom from pinkish colored geranium
IMG_3297 The old apple tree has lots of apples this year. IMG_3304 Ever heard of an Easter Egg plant? That’s what these 2 pots have in them. Given to us by a friend they are supposed to have pods shaped like Easter eggs that change colors during their growth.

Joke of the Day

A pupil’s story…

Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, everyone else in the class laughed. My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much.  I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef.

Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too. Then he told me not to do it again.

The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was.  I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, just like she'd asked the other children. So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.  She sent me back to the principal's office again. He laughed, and told me not to do it again. I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am.

Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most. I told her, "Colonel Sanders".

Guess where I am now...

Your patio view is relaxing. Who doesn't love the flowers God gave us. And, it looks like lots of apple pies are coming your way.
Mom has had the Easter Egg plant bloom. They really do produce colored eggs. You will be amazed.

Life IS a journey. We thank God every day.
Yes, pigs do treat us as equals...we are all smart.
Your joke of the day is awesome. Too bad his teacher just didn't get his honesty. Glad his principal has a better understanding of the word.

Pretty flowers. I have never heard of the Easter Egg plant. I thought at first they were egg plants. I was thinking what good eating that would be. Cute joke. Helen
