Life Goes On… even when we have a stumble
I feel like life has almost stopped for me in the past week. But when I started writing I was thinking about some of the lyrics to that song, Ol’ Man River.

Therapy Coming Up This Week 
That’ll be the word of the day week month. Today we’ll befing visits from the Home Health Care home who will be stopping at our house 3 times a week for the next 2 weeks. They’ll be helping me with my knee therapy. When I say they will be helping me, you will probably be hearing me hollering “help”, “help”,…
I walked around the block today, not once but two times. Beverly told me that was too much after surgery just 6 days ago. I think I’ll be OK. I walked around the chopping block in the kitchen!

Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says: 'Slim, I'm 83 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age. How do you feel?'
Slim says, 'I feel just like a newborn baby.'
'Really!? Like a newborn baby!?'
