We Are Sad & Grieving

I wanted to let my readers know that my Dad passed away this morning while he was in the hospital. The doctors postponed surgery yesterday and again earlier this morning because of some health issues.

Yesterday afternoon  he felt pretty good and was alert and talked to his visitors. Early this morning he was resting, was alert, and knew all the family that was with him. Around 9:00 AM or a little later he quickly turned for the worse and died around 10:15 AM while he was asleep.

Jim, I was so sad to hear about your Dad's sudden passing. He was so beloved on blogger and AOL journals. Your Dad was such an inspiration to me and other folks with his sense of humor, kindness, gentle way and just plain goodness. Please accept my condolences and extend them to your family for me. May God bless you and your family. Linda

Jim we have a journal from AOL journals that lists all that have gone on before called Silent Keyboards. My friend Carlene wrote a tribute to Dad in it last night. You and Mary might want to check it out.

Mr. White's Tomato Garden Journal was probably the first one that I followed. It was a friendly place with Dad's wisdom and we will miss him very much. I know he was a wonderful Dad, I am so sorry for your loss.
