Ninety-Eight Years
Happy Birthday to my Dad, a most amazing man, and a kind and loving father.
Dad’s been having a few health issues lately, but I am amazed at his physical strength and mental capability. He still does his daily blog, at Dad’s Tomato Garden.
You can join me in telling Dad Happy Birthday by going to his blog today and leave him a comment to tell him Happy Birthday.
The following is a picture of Dad working in his Tomato Garden. He’s always especially happy when he’s outdoors in the garden or working with his bird feeders.

Fishing Yesterday
Ralph and I headed to South Holston Lake yesterday to fish for some of those Lake Trout. Doug and I went last Thursday, but didn’t do any good. But that was on Watauga.
I am pleased to say that we had a good day. We had our limit by 1:30 PM and in addition to the four trout we kept, we had caught and released 0ver 10 smaller fish. Out keeper consisted to 3 fish in the 3-4 lb. range, and 1 fish about 2 pounds.
The picture to the right shows Tennessee Granddaddy holding the days catch.
He didn't tell me how to live; he lived,
and let me watch him do it.

Joke of the Day
Groups of Americans were traveling by tour bus through Holland ..
As they stopped at a cheese farm, a young guide led them through the process of cheese making, explaining that goat's milk was used.
She showed the group a lovely hillside where many goats were grazing. 'These' she explained, 'Are the older goats put out to pasture when they no longer produce.'
She then asked, 'What do you do in America with your old goats?'
A spry old gentleman answered, 'They send us on bus tours!
