Kara’s Birthday
Yesterday was a good day. We enjoyed seeing our Granddaughter on her 12th Birthday. We had cake and ice cream and enjoyed our time with Kara and family. Here’s a few pictures taken while we were there.

Tennessee Granddaddy Says:
Our planet, Earth, has completed another revolution around the sun. Today it heads out again in orbit to make another trip. How amazing!

Let’s hope we remember to revolve around the Son, Jesus. May we have His direction and guidance as we start another year.

Quote of the Day
We will open the book.  Its pages are blank.
We are going to put words on them ourselves.
The book is called Opportunity and
its first chapter is New Year's Day.

Joke of the Day

Two blondes were driving along a road by a wheat field when they saw a blonde in the middle of the field rowing a row boat.

The driver blonde turned to her friend and said "You know - it's blondes like that that give us a bad name!"

To this, the other blonde replies "I know it, and if I knew how to swim, I'd go out there and drown her."
