Scenery

Tennessee Granddaddy’s Photos
Just recently I finished uploading my scenery pictures in Picasa Web Albums. The following is a slide show of 42 pictures taken during this past year. Looking a the pictures bring back a lot of memories of the beautiful nature we enjoyed.

My scenery pictures from 2008.

(I am now using Picasa 3 and it works good in uploading pictures to Picasa Web Albums. With Picasa Web Albums you can make slide shows like the one below.)

Jade’s Coming Home for Christmas
Yes, she’s be here on December 22, and will be be able to stay with us until December 30. We are really looking forward to her visit. Right now she in Utah for her first year of college. We are looking forward to learning about her studies and all about college life.

Joke of the Day

A old man was sitting in the front row at a town meeting, heckling the mayor as he delivered a long speech. Finally the mayor could stand it no longer, so he pointed to the heckler and said, "Will that gentleman please stand up and tell the audience what he has ever done for the good of the city."

"Well, Mr. Mayor," the man said in a firm voice. "I voted against you in the last election."

Jim, I just read on Dad's blog about how you're in the hospital. I'm praying that you're feeling okay and that you'll be up and about soon. Dad says he will keep us updated. This is so strange that this happened when you've been taking such good care of your health.

Your photographs are beautiful.

I read in Dad's blog where you are coming home today. Just so you know I sent up prayers for you. Seems like prayers along with good doctors and good care is working great. That will be nice for you all to be with Jade when she comes home. Merry Christmas to you all. Hugs to you all, Helen
