In August, After a Rain Shower
I wanted to share a few of my favorite photo’s from the day Beverly and I went to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park this past summer. Click on the photo’s for a larger view.

It makes you wonder, though.

Joke of the Day
'In what aisle could I find the Polish sausage?'
The clerk looks at him and says, 'Are you Polish?'
The guy (clearly offended) says, 'Well, yes I am. But let me ask you something. If I had asked for Italian sausage, would you ask me if I was Italian?'
'Or, if I had asked for German Bratwurst, would you ask me if I was German?'
'Or, if I asked for a kosher hot dog, would you ask me if I was Jewish?'
'Or, if I had asked for a taco, would you ask if I was Mexican?'
'If I asked for some Irish whiskey, would you ask if I was Irish?'
The clerk says, 'Well, no, I probably wouldn't have.'
With deep self-righteous indignation, the guy says, 'Well then, why did you ask me if I'm Polish because I asked for Polish sausage?'
The clerk replied, 'Because you're in Home Depot.'
(No offense intended.
Change it around it any way you wish.
For example,
“On what isle could I find American cheese?” etc.)

Beautiful place. One year my daughter and I went. The line of traffic was so long we pulled off the road to get a bit of rest for my back. We walked off up into the woods where we saw several deer which came right up to her. All at once I had a bad feeling and told her " Let's hurry and get out of these woods" I didn't tell her but I felt danger all around us. Just as soon as we got back to the road someone there asked us did we see the bear that had just come out of the woods. I felt like God had just led us out of danger. I knew then what that bad feeling was all about. Helen
